After buying a new '08 Mercury Milan with the MS SYNC, I wanted a new radio with built in bluetooth for my Ford Sport Trac. After much reading of reviews I chose this radio & couldn't be more pleased. I had to do a little modification to the truck (not true double din) for it to fit but it did and looks & sounds great. Controls my ipod through the head unit but it can even play music through any usb connected device from any size flash drive to a portable 2.5" hard drive! That's A LOT of music! It's satellite ready & I added Sirius which I love but still my favorite feature is the bluetooth. Pair it to your cell phone and talk right through the unit! Never touch your cell phone again while driving... It's GREAT!

It takes a while to learn how to use. But once you learn the controls it's fairly easy to manipulate. HD radio is great. I love having 2 channels per frequency, often with the second channel being commercial-free. Sound quality on mic for telephone calls is awesome. There are lots of choices for audio manipulation. Be sure to adjust the sound specifically for Ipod in the audio menu. My Ipod sounded tinny compared to radio, etc. until I used one of their specialized settings for Ipod. In general a quality unit. I don't regret this purchase one bit.

I upgraded my 1991 Miata with this Pioneer stereo. Wow! What a great stereo. Besides the AM/FM/CD/Blue Tooth capabilities it also allows you hook up and play an iPod AND even plays mp3's from a thumb drive!! The player shows the artist, album and track too! It's a great bang for the buck!

Unit was purchased to receive signals from stations that typically have poor reception in my area. It solved that problem like a champ. I also purchased the XM add-on. What I didn't expect was the exceptional sound especially from the XM stations. Unit does take a few days to get used to but once you have become accustomed to the controls it is easy to use. Best car stereo I have owned hands down.

i recently purchased this product and love it. the install was a snap with the exception of the trim plate they give you. it does not fill the gap in your DD opening. i had to buy a dash kit to go around it and fill the gap(i'm sure this varies on the vehicle). pioneer impresses me again, with crystal clear sound, loud volume, and the eq is great for tweaking your sound. the built in bluetooth is great, and you can stream music from your bluetooth phone or mp3 player to your head unit. i have the xm and hd radio attached to it and they work with no problems at all either. fantastic unit... pioneer premier is the only way to go! :-)
