Easy Installation.
Does well all it's supposed to.
Works with all SD, SDHC cards and USB.
Good simple Blue Tooth connection to phone.
Enough power to enjoy it.
Good sensitive Tuner.
Worth the price.
Do NOT go to their website for installation advise - they have it wrong!

i mainly bought this for the SD Slot. it took my 4 GB card. This Radio Is the Best Ever! It Does everything what it says it will do! with No Defects. SD Card Slot is the Best thing Ever. I dont own any cd's thanks to this stereo. It was Very Simple to install. The controls are eazy to use. I was going to get a seperate bluetooth kit, but this I saved myself so much Money with the Bluetooth. You hear your calls through all the speakers and the microphone is located on the stereo. Your calls sound crystal clear, the person who you call can hear you perfectly. No Road or wind sound, and you dont have to scream when you are talking on the phone. One thing you cant do with this stereo is you cant lower the brightness of the screen. I highly recommend this stereo to any Music lover, stuck in traffic, has to many cd's in their car Kind of person.

I'm very happy with this radio. The amplifier is extremely clean and detailed with plenty of power. It is rated at 13W * 4 at < 1 % THD, and it is very clean indeed, even at high volume levels. Avoid any system that does not give you a power AND distortion rating. Any radio can do 160W at 50% distortion, what's important is how clean it is at a normal to high listening level. At 13W average, with most music, you're asking for peaks well over 130W, which no head unit can do without distorting anyway. Very loud music is going to average around 5W with peaks around 100W, which are going to be clipped with any car radio. Suffice it to say that this unit seems to have plenty of headroom and drives my speakers to the point where they are traveling well beyond their design range and the system still sounds good. I'm surprised how loud it will go while still sounding clean (and the lights don't dim on the display which would indicate clipping). It probably really is producing 40W * 4 at a reasonably clean level (maybe even more), and my speakers are without a doubt going to distort on their own at that level no matter what amp is used. Conclusion: Sounds great.

I'm giving the unit 5 stars meaning that for the money, I don't think it can be beat, the features are extremely good at this price and it really does sound good. That doesn't mean it's perfect, but I've heard much more expensive equipment sound like junk in comparison. It works fine with a 4GB SDHC SD card, others not tested. It probably has 1000 mp3's on it, and they sound excellent. CD is fine too, and the FM and AM bands also sound very good and seem to pull in stations better than any other radio I have in any of my cars. With the SD card, I did notice that sometimes it doesn't always jump to the correct song right away but will after a few seconds. I've seen this a few times but most of the time it's fine. I eliminated all non-mp3 files to try to stop this, but it still happens on occasion. Worth mentioning, but really not an issue. Navigation among folders is easy. IPOD interface not tested (I don't have one). I didn't think I would use the remote, but I do quite often. The remote is IR so you have to be in a direct line to the radio for the signal to be seen. A radio type connection would have been smarter so the remote could be mounted somewhere like the dash or console, but I suppose that would also cost more.

The bluetooth connects to my phone instantly when the key is turned on, and I have it set to auto answer. Pairing it the first time was a little iffy and I had to read the manual (code is 1234) but it never asks again. I don't think I had the volume set correctly because others report great sound, but mine was not so good, it's in an old Jeep CJ7 which is loud and like an echo chamber inside anyway, so it would be a challenge for any radio or bluetooth system. I like the fact that the bluetooth is effortless, and it works fine even in my loud Jeep, it's certainly no worse than me holding my phone by hand, and probably works great in a quiet car. It's not good enough to eliminate all noise but I don't think I should expect that either.

The blue display is very bright and there is no input from the lights to dim it. My instruments are green, so pay attention to that, it's one small point I really don't like, but I really can't complain too much at this price point given everything else it does so well. If you want a radio with different selectable colors or a dimmable display, this one doesn't have it. I have no trouble seeing it even in bright sunlight, but a different color and brightness would be a good addition (or an auto-dim feature using a light sensor would be even smarter), and is probably available on more expensive units.

All in all, for the price, this thing does everything I can ask and does it very well with extremely good sound, much better than I expected. I don't think the value can be beat in this price range. If I take the roof off my Jeep and it gets rained on, it will be no huge expense to replace it, which is part of the reason I went with an inexpensive unit; it's disposable. I'm very pleased with how good this unit is for the price, I really didn't expect it to be that good except all of the other reviews indicated it was a great radio. They were right.

Pro:
1. Bluetooth was easy to setup and works really well with my Nokia 6012i. Wife is usually picky but hasn't complained when I call her from the car (local or freeway). Incoming calls come through the speakers loud and clear so I don't have to tell the other person to speak up... way up... can you shout at the top of your lung because I cannot hear you!? Radio volume cuts off when there's incoming call and goe back when call is over. Forget about dialing on the unit because you would be a crash before you get to the 3rd digit. I just love being able to get in the car, turn the ignition and the radio is on and bluetooth connected and ready to make/get calls. I always forget to wear headset when driving so no more fumbling for it when going 90mph on the freeway or having to worry about headset battery dying. I got a usb bluetooth dongle on ebay for $2 so now I use the headset on my pc for skype :)
2. Comes with ipod adapter and separate mp3 3.5mm adapter, and sd card (behind faceplate), and usb port for thumb drive. I have a few hundred songs on a thumb drive and mp3 player and both work great!
3. Radio works great am and fm in the city.

Considering I got it for $96 with free shipping and $40 for shop install, this is the best bargain I got in a long while and it far exceeded my expectation.

Exactly as described. The ipod and mp3 connections work great.I had previously been using an fm transmitter which was inconvenient. The bluetooth phone feature is awsome it is easy to set up and clear to both parties. Even if the radio is off when a call comes in it turns on. Thats a great feature. Haven't tried the usb or sd card slots will be trying that soon, as I have a lot of CD's that I will now be able to record from the receiver onto the 2gb sd card, no more switching cd's while driving! So far I have been more than pleased with this receiver. The radio stations are also crystal clear. It looks great in my dash, it does take some getting used to the brightness at night, you can adjust the contrast but not the brightness of the background. I got used to it after the first night of driving around to realize its not a big problem. All in all a great radio for the $84.00 I paid for it. I needed a speaker phone set up and I wanted to listen to my Zune and Itouch 16gb and this radio came with the wires, many of the more expensive ones did not. In regards to the Itouch 16gb, to charge it you need to buy a passport connector for around $30.00 we did, but it wasn't necessary if you just want to listen to your touch and not charge it.
